Sycamore & Dekalb are cities right in and around each other located in Northern Illionionse in the Sauk river valley about 20 miles W of Elgin, Illinois and 53 miles W of Chicago, Illinois. DeKalb-Sycamore is in such close proximity there even is a trail that goes right through the towns called the DeKalb-Sycamore Trail —also known as the Peace Road Trail—parallels the eastern side of Peace Road from DeKalb to Sycamore in northern Illinois.   

• Sycamore was officially incorporated as a village in 1858 and went on to become a city in 1869.
• DeKalb was first incorporated as a village in 1856 and did not become a city until 1877. 

Sycamore / Dekalb Illinois is a place home & property owners want a lawn & tree care service that they can rely on to keep there lawns and landscapes beautiful and that is what Aaron's Greenscape has been doing for over 20 years.  Aaron applied his first few years of lawn care in Dekalb and Sycamore while working for All-Green lawn care and Barefoot Grass and through that work he learned customers wanted a better way, they wanted lawn and tree care done, the way it should be done.  After Barefoot Grass was bought by Tru Green in 1997, it seemed a perfect time to launch Aaron's Greenscape and we have enjoyed keeping high-quality lawn and tree care part of the Sycamore and Dekalb Illionose experience for hundreds of customers properties since.
